From when I can remember, I have always been told that "If you cannot say anything nice at all, then don't say anything". Never really thought about it until my grandson started repeating his parents' words, not understanding the ramification of the words actions you really speak. 

When you say curse, there are many different types; witchcraft curse, and speaking a curse word or many. Let us examine, if you are not walking with the blood of Jesus, you automatically fallen into the hands of the devil and he will not stop at anything to make you continue to not follow Jesus. 

CURSES FROM WITCHCRAFT:

There are straight up chanting and words that are in rhyming conditions to sound cool and that are evil to get you to rely on everything except Jesus. The evil ones that worship the devil are told to make songs for people, even Christians to listen to and Un cognitively sing chants of curses for the devil to worship him and not God. Well the more you know, the better you will understand and be aware what you are allowing to be in your ears.

Now for the actual words to speak vulgar with, is another curse. It is what you speak about is what you are creating for your heart, mind, soul, house, your own beings around you. You are cursing yourself by cussing and using negative and vulgar words. Below are scriptures to help you understand a little more. It has become a custom like every other evil thing that has socially been accepted. So, when you actually think it is cute that a little baby cusses because they are mimicking you, you should really look inside yourself and ask truly do you want to cause harm to your child because you think it is cute? It is curses with words. What you speak is an action to what you want. What do you want for you and your family? Do you want goodness and happiness and break the bad in generations, or do you want to continue the generation curses and have poverty and continue evil amongst the ranks of your Leins.

2. James 1:26 If a person thinks that he is religious but can’t control his tongue, he is fooling himself. That person’s religion is worthless.

How can we praise a holy God with our mouth, then use it for profanity and bad language?

15. James 3:9-11 Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God.  And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! Does a spring of water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water? Does a fig tree produce olives, or a grapevine produce figs? No, and you can’t draw fresh water from a salty spring.

The things we watch and listen to does indeed trigger bad language.

If we are listening to devilish music and watching movies with a lot of profanity we will be wrongly influenced.

Be careful who you hang around with.

If you’re not careful you can pick up on unwholesome speech.
